  Guess what else? We take that a step further and increase that likelihood from 10 to 15 or more with our "Profile Spotlight" program! The two profile photos you see at the top of this page and the photos you see in the left panel of this website are being showcased for one reason! Those profiles have a photo?

  Often times we see(and we're sure you have too) profiles with the words "photo upon request" in their descriptive areas. Since that phrase may apply to websites that do not provide for photo placement with profiles, it certainly doesn't apply here! Here at Salt & Pepper Singles, we provide an avenue for Members and Guests alike to place their photo with their profile. Paid subscription members can place their photo with their profile for free. Guests pay a slight processing charge of $10.00 .

Why do we charge any fee at all?
  Here at Salt & Pepper Singles, we truly believe that sincere singles looking for their sincere someone special, have no problem investing a minor amount into their chances for success. With the investment of a few dollars, a person's profile is much more meaningful, to themselves and others! They have shown their sincerity by the willingness to do what it takes to promote themselves in this hectic, and often chaotic, world of ours.

  When we receive your photo it usually is, more likely than not, in need of processing. While the vast majority of people do not have the capabilities to process their own image, we will do it for you. Processes including cropping, resizing and image enhancement are the steps taken to insure your photo's suitability for online use. This involves time and human interaction. Currently, there is no known software that can maximize a photo's potential like the human eye.

Selecting the right photo . . . !
   We strongly recommend you take great care in selecting the particular photograph of yourself you wish to submit for display with your profile! Remember that this photo represents YOU to all the world who does not know you! A good barometer would be to decide if that photo you selected could also be used for your school yearbook! Or perhaps the local newspaper! OR would you send that photo to a would-be suitor????

Points to look for:

Is it a recent photo?(very important)

Can your face clearly be seen in the picture?

Does your face or body fill the picture or are you "lost" in the photo?

Do you look your best?

Remember, first impressions can make a difference!

Technical considerations:

Photos submitted should not be larger than 4 x 6, or no larger than 250 x 250 pixels in screen size.

Accepted formats are JPG and GIF.

You can check the image screen size and format in most images editing programs.

You can submit your photo online via Email attachment.

Photos may contain the likeness of the submitter only!

Please submit photos that do not contain children or other people in them. Others will be cropped out or photo will be rejected. These rules are in place for legal and security reasons.

Salt & Pepper Singles Photo Submissions Policy

If you change your screen name or e-mail address, please notify us. Your photo becomes the property of Salt & Pepper Singles. We will place your photo online shortly after your payment and photo have been received.

Photos must be actual pictures of the person who submitted his/her profile. You must be at least 18 years of age to place your picture at www.SaltAndPepperSingles.com. You must understand and agree that your picture may be accessed, viewed, stored, or reproduced by anyone accessing the Salt & Pepper Singles web site.

Sending someone else's photo is a violation of Salt & Pepper Singles policy and constitutes fraud that will result in removal of your profile and possible legal action. For more information regarding our profile policies, CLICK HERE !

Salt & Pepper Singles reserves the right to edit submissions in order to achieve conformance to these listed guidelines. Whenever posssible, photos will be cropped in such a way as to exclude any other people also appearing in the photo. Absolutely NO juveniles may appear in photos.

We will send you a confirmation via e-mail when your payment is received, complete with instructions on how to submit your photo. We will also send you a confirmation via e-mail when your photo is online and placed with your profile.

In addition, please take great care in your own photo selection process! Once you have submitted your photo, you may not change this photo in the future without incurring the normal photo placement fee!

The "Profile Spotlight" program featured in various pages of this website displays photos of members and guests randomly and is a means of drawing attention to your profile quicker. This is not an extra charge and all guests and members will appear here if they have submitted a photo with their profile. Each time the page is loaded a different set of unedited thumbnail versions of the normal sized profile photos appear.

NOTE: We will not edit submitted photos for the purpose of display in the profile spotlight feature.
